Solar Energy Enterprises Co., a pioneering establishment in the industry.

In 2015, Dr Alaa Salih Hamadto deviated from her career as a dentist in an endeavour to
carry on her father’s legacy by supporting and advancing the SEEC, eventually
innovating for her own brand, Solar Foods, established in 2017.

Growing up, Dr. Alaa had an admiration for home-cooked meals and was determined
to engrave the same affection in her children.As a working mother, however, recreating
the traditional, authentic Sudanese dishes, which required various pre-prepared
ingredients, would take long hours of preparation, all at the expense of precious family
time.Dr Alaa was therefore determined to innovate for a solution that delivers both
the authentic taste and the convenience, solving a problem that many Sudanese
working women suffer from.
